Namalga
A perfect example of the Vinhão grape. The most colourful grape from Portugal native to the Minho region (a.k.a. Vinho Verde). This grape has so much pigment that even its flesh is bright red. Originally it's drank from white bowls pictured on the label, this is to portray the pretty ink like purple tears running down the bowl after taking a sip. Made by the grandfather of Mariana Pala who produces the much beloved Suba.
Very powerful wine, fruit forward with an exciting tingle. Inky color and texture.
